The slopes surrounding Zakopane provide a range of difficulty levels. The most demanding mountains: Kasprowy Wierch and Nosal are recommended for expert skiers. The slopes of Gubalowka and Polana Szymoszkowa offer more than just skiing: from here you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Tatras. Zakopane area is known for having the best ski conditions in Poland. Winter season usually begins in December and ends in April, but the unofficial Polish record is mid May! If You want to rest after skiing we have for you one of the best traditional winter pleasures in Poland - sledging horse. This is a fast and festive ride on a horse-drawn sleigh through the snowy valleys of Tatra Mountains. Children love it, and the adults enjoy horse sledging into their party schedules along with hot drinks and traditional Polish vodka.
