Holiday general information - Tatra Mountains
Zakopane, the hearth of Tatra Mountains, has many attractions for youth and children; it offers for example cable-car to Gubalówka or Kasprowy Wierch, hiking, wooden churches and a market selling handmade toys and other handicrafts. At mealtimes, many restaurants feature such picky-eater fare as dumplings and apple cakes, served by waiters in traditional dress. The magic atmosphere of the smallest alpine mountains in Europe will refresh you and your family and invigorate you with the optimism and energy you need to overcome the demanding days ahead. The sunrises and sunsets in the Tatra Mountains are famous for their outstanding beauty and all those who are fond of photography will be impressed by sudden and unexpected weather changes accompanying atmospheric phenomena. Amateurs of trekking will quickly take to an endless variety of local trails, some of which date back to the interwar period when trekking was in vogue in Poland. The mountainous climate will surely sharpen your appetite so that you can enjoy delicious local barbecue dishes. There is a special barbecue roofed outdoor area within the property.
The Family Holidays
Accommodation is in fully equipped chalets. Although traditional-looking, these stylish huts situated up on a hill are surprisingly modern inside and were built according to local tradition craft. In every chalet there are double and triple bedrooms, kitchen and two bathrooms. There is a terrace from which you will be able to marvel at the scenic, monumental and overwhelming landscape. There is no age restriction for the guesthouse and our programme is not challenging. Older children are welcome, as long as they are able to walk the route. A lot of people carry their child in special carriers - they are perfect for hiking with the little one. |
