Their last and the most tragic places come form WW II – former ghetto area, Umschlagplatz, from where they were deported to extermination camp in Treblinka, Rappaport monument, Jewish cemetery (still operating), Nozyk synagogue (the only one functioning in Poland), Jewish theatre, remaining of ghetto walls, Janusz Korczak orphanage, Jewish Historical Institute (museum, archives and film showing Warsaw ghetto time).
